Kelly Wolf
Kelly J. Wolf (born August 3, 1961) is an American politician from the state of Alaska. He served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 2003 until 2005. Biography Wolf was born in 1961 in Longview, Washington, moving to Alaska in 1975, graduating from Kenai Central High School in 1979. He worked as a contractor and carpenter, and was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2002 as a Republican, defeating Hal Smalley. Wolf did not run for reelection in 2004, but ran in 2008 as an independent, placing third. Wolf was elected to the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly in 2012, and was subject to an unsuccessful recall effort in January 2015, before being defeated in his 2015 bid for reelection. Hugh Fate
Hugh Berry "Bud" Fate (December 4, 1929 – February 25, 2021) was an American politician and dentist in the state of Alaska. Early life and career Fate was born in Mountain View, California. He graduated from La Grande High School in La Grande, Oregon in 1948. In 1951, he moved to Alaska, living in Fairbanks and Umiat. From 1951 to 1953, he served in the United States Army Signal Corps. In addition to his career in politics and military service, Fate worked as a dentist, gold miner, carpenter, fisherman, dog musher, bush pilot, real estate developer, and author. In a speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate, his son-in-law Dan Sullivan referred to Fate as "an Alaskan renaissance man" and a "legend across Alaska." Lieutenant Governor Of Alaska
The lieutenant governor of Alaska is the deputy elected official to the governor of the U.S. state of Alaska. Unlike most lieutenant governors in the U.S., the office also maintains the duties of a secretary of state, and indeed was named such until August 25, 1970. Prior to statehood, the territorial-era Secretary of Alaska, who was appointed by the president of the United States like the governor, functioned as an acting governor or successor-in-waiting. Currently, the lieutenant governor accedes to the governorship in case of a vacancy. Dan Sullivan (Anchorage Mayor)
Daniel Albert Sullivan (born June 16, 1951) is an American businessman and politician who served as the mayor of Anchorage from 2009 to 2015 and on the Anchorage Assembly from 1999 to 2008. The son of Anchorage's longest-serving mayor, George M. Sullivan, he was the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor of Alaska in the 2014 election but he and incumbent Governor Sean Parnell were defeated by the ticket of Independent Bill Walker and Democrat Byron Mallott. Harold V. Smalley (born November 22, 1946) is an American politician who served one term in the Alaska House of Representatives. Biography Smalley was born in 1946 in Hood River, Oregon. He graduated from Astoria High School in 1965, and attended Clatsop Community College from 1965 until 1967. He later transferred to the Oregon College of Education (now known as Western Oregon University), graduating in 1969. In 1970, Smalley moved to Napakiak, Alaska, a small community of mostly Yup'ik Alaska Natives, where he taught at the Napakiak Bureau of Indian Affairs Day School.
