Kelly Moore
Kelly Moore (born January 31, 1959) is the driver with the all-time most wins in the NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series and the driver of the #47 NAPA Chevy. He is the father of NASCAR driver Ryan Moore. Racing career Moore started with the NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series when the series started in 1987. He was the 1995 champion and is the all-time leader in starts, wins, poles, poles in a season, money, top 5 and top 10 finishes. Moore also ran some Busch East-Busch Series companion events during much of his career, competing in NASCAR's #2 series. In races spanning from 1986 to 1999, Moore earned five top-ten finishes, bested by a runner-up in 1988 at Oxford Plains Speedway. The Alsco Uniforms 300 is an annual 300-mile (482.803 km) NASCAR Xfinity Series race held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina during Memorial Day weekend as a support race for the Coca-Cola 600. The race's origins trace back to 1978, when a it was a NASCAR Late Model Sportsman Series race was held the day before the World 600. In 1982 it became a Busch Series race. The race celebrated its 40th running in 2018, and is considered one of the more popular races on the Xfinity Series schedule. From its inception through 2004, the race was scheduled for Saturday afternoon. In 1985 only, it was held the same day as The Winston. Budweiser 200 (Dover)
The A-GAME 200 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car race that takes place during the spring at Dover Motor Speedway. History The race was broadcast in the United States on ESPN until 2015, when the race moved to Fox. In 2016, the race was moved to the second week of May because of the NASCAR All-Star Race, and was 200 laps in total with two 40 lap heats and 120 lap main as part of the Xfinity 'Dash 4 Cash' program. In 2017, the race would not use the heat races and would utilize NASCAR's new stage format with stages 1 and 2 being 60 laps each, with last stage being the final 80 laps. The 2020 race was originally scheduled for May 2 before being postponed to August 22 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Busch 200 (South Boston)
South Boston Speedway, or "SoBo", is a short track located just outside South Boston, Virginia. SoBo is located approximately east of another area familiar to most NASCAR fans, Martinsville. It is owned by Mattco, Inc., the Mattioli family trust that owns Pocono Raceway, with general manager Chase Brashears operating the track, replacing Cathy Rice who retired in 2021 after serving in that role for 21 years. NASCAR's three national series have raced at the track, though the Cup Series has not done so since 1971, while the Busch Series last raced here in 2000. After the Busch Series left the schedule, the Craftsman Truck Series competed at SoBo for a few years between 2001 and 2003. The SRX Series visited the track in 2022. Dixie Cup 200
Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has been held at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina since the series' inaugural season in 1982. Currently, the track holds two races in the spring (as companion to Rebel 400) named Mahindra ROXOR 200 and fall (as companion to Southern 500) named Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200, both being in distance. Initially only one race was held, but starting in 1984 the track hosted two races per year until 2004 when the track lost its fall weekend date as a result of the realignments caused by the Ferko lawsuit. A realignment in 2015 moved the spring race to the pre-Ferko fall slot. Budweiser 200 (Bristol)
The Cheddar's 300 was a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the first of two Bristol races on the schedule. The first Busch Series race at Bristol was 150 laps, and was won by Phil Parsons in 1982. The race was not held in 1984. The race increased in length several times since then: it was lengthened to 200 laps in 1985, 250 laps in 1990, and 300 laps in 2006. In 2016, the race format was changed to include two 50-lap heat races and a 200-lap feature for a total of 300 laps, as part of the Xfinity Dash 4 Cash program. In 2017 that format did not return and instead reverted to its 300-lap distance with the new stage format. Stages 1 and 2 were 85 laps each, with stage 3 being the final 130 laps. The Galaxy Food Centers 300 was a NASCAR Busch Series stock car race held at Hickory Motor Speedway, a paved oval track located in Hickory, North Carolina.
