Kelly Garni
Kelly Garni is an American hard rock musician and photographer, best known as a founding member of the band Quiet Riot. He appears on the band's 1978 self-titled debut album, as well as their second album, ''Quiet Riot II'' the same year. Biography Born in Los Angeles in 29 October 1952, Garni's family moved to Burbank, California in the early 1970s, where he met Randy Rhoads. He played bass with Quiet Riot for about five years until he was fired for a drunk episode where he plotted to kill lead singer Kevin DuBrow. Kevin DuBrow
Kevin Mark DuBrow (October 29, 1955 – November 19, 2007) was an American singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Quiet Riot from 1975 until 1987, and again from 1993 until his death in 2007. Early life, photography work and family Kevin DuBrow was born to Laura and Alvin Dubrow. He was raised in Los Angeles with his younger brother, Terry, who went on to become a plastic surgeon and TV personality. At age 13, Kevin and his family eventually settled in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Van Nuys. DuBrow was raised Jewish and had the nickname "Butch" growing up. DuBrow learned to play 12-string guitar, and his first band consisted of 11-year-olds who played only one gig, to an audience of senior citizens who were not particularly fond of rock music. ''The Randy Rhoads Years'' is a compilation album by American heavy metal band Quiet Riot that features songs from Randy Rhoads' time with the band in the late 1970s. It features previously unreleased material and some remixed songs from Quiet Riot's first two albums which were released only in Japan. Randy Rhoads
Randall William Rhoads (December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American guitarist. He was the co-founder and original guitarist of the heavy metal band Quiet Riot, and the guitarist and co-songwriter for Ozzy Osbourne's first two solo albums ''Blizzard of Ozz'' (1980) and '' Diary of a Madman'' (1981). Rhoads was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. Originally educated in classical guitar, Rhoads combined these early influences with heavy metal, helping to form a subgenre later known as neoclassical metal. With Quiet Riot, he adopted a black-and-white polka-dot theme which became an emblem for the group. He reached his peak as the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne's solo career, performing on tracks including "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley" on the ''Blizzard of Ozz'' album.
