Kelana Jaya LRT Station
Kelana Jaya LRT station is a light rail station on the Kelana Jaya Line. It was the former western terminus for passenger services on the line. It is the start of the LRT Extension Project which extended the current terminus to Putra Heights station. It is also the namesake for the LRT line. The station is located besides the southbound carriageway on the Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP) between exit 1108 and 1109, although there is an overhead crossing for pedestrians to cross the highway. Located nearby are the neighbourhoods of SS2, Kelana Jaya (SS4 and SS5), and Taman Mayang (SS25). As the station is on a major expressway, it is well served by bus connections that take passengers to the areas of PJ Utara (PJU or Northern Petaling Jaya), Tropicana, Subang Jaya, Sunway and Putrajaya. A medium-capacity system (MCS), also known as light rapid transit or light metro, is a rail transport system with a capacity greater than light rail, but less than typical heavy-rail rapid transit. MCS’s trains are usually 1-4 cars, or 1 light rail vehicle (LRV). Most medium-capacity rail systems are automated or use light rail type vehicles. Light rail is considered high capacity as trains use 2-4 LRVs. Since ridership determines the scale of a rapid transit system, statistical modeling allows planners to size the rail system for the needs of the area. Surian station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the suburb of Kota Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line. Persiaran Surian is a driveway (highway) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The driveway connects from Kota Damansara to Mutiara Damansara. This driveway is maintained by the Petaling Jaya City Council or Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) and Mutiara Rini Sdn Bhd. IOI Mall Puchong, is a shopping mall situated in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia. It has two buildings, the former named Old Wing and the latter New Wing. IOI Puchong Jaya LRT Station
IOI Puchong Jaya LRT station is a light rapid transit station at Puchong Jaya, a township in Puchong, Selangor. It is located near IOI Mall, and its name was taken from IOI Group and Bandar Puchong Jaya, and not under the Station Naming Rights Programme run by Prasarana. It is operated under the Sri Petaling Line network as found in the station signage. Like most other LRT stations operating in Klang Valley, this station is elevated. History The plan for an extension for the existing Sri Petaling LRT Line was proposed in 2006. Construction had started since 2011.
