New Zealand-born country music singer Keith Urban has released 12 studio albums, four compilation albums, and 55 singles. He began his career in 1991 with the release of his self-titled debut album on EMI and Capitol Records in Australia. After an American album in 1997 as a member of The Ranch, he embarked on a solo career there as well, subsequently releasing five more studio albums. His highest-certified album in the US is 2004's '' Be Here'', which is four-times-platinum. Of his 48 solo singles, 41 were released to US and Canadian radio. He has scored 20 No. 1 singles on the US Hot Country Songs chart, plus his guest appearance on Brad Paisley's No. 1 single " Start a Band". Keith Lionel Urban (born 26 October 1967) is an Australian-American musician, singer, guitarist and songwriter known for his work in country music. Recognized with four Grammy Awards, Urban also received fifteen Academy of Country Music Awards, including the Jim Reeves International Award, thirteen CMA Awards and six ARIA Music Awards. The publication was founded by Walt Grealis in February 1964, supported through its existence by record label owner Stan Klees. ''RPM'' ceased publication in November 2000. ''Keith Urban'' (also known as ''Keith Urban II'') is the second studio album by the Australian country music artist of the same name. It was released on 19 October 1999 via Capitol Nashville. It was nominated at the 2000 ARIA Music Awards for Best Country Album, but lost to Troy Cassar-Daley for Big River. Before this album, Urban recorded a self-titled album in Australia in 1991 and another in the US as a member of the short-lived band The Ranch. It was released by Capitol Nashville in 1997, and re-released in 2004 with two bonus tracks and re-titled ''Keith Urban in The Ranch''. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders.
