Keith Turner (motorcyclist)
Keith Turner (born 11 November 1946) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from New Zealand. He competed in the FIM motorcycle Grand Prix world championships from 1967 to 1972. He had his best season in 1971 when he finished the year in second place in the 500cc world championship, behind the defending champion, Giacomo Agostini. Motorcycle racing career Turner was born in London, England but, lived in New Zealand from the age of five. He purchased a Matchless 500 as his first motorcycle at the age of 15. He began motorcycle racing at the age of 16 aboard a BSA A50 while he completed a car mechanic apprenticeship. By 1966 Turner was winning so often aboard a Bultaco 250 that, he made the decision to go to Europe to compete in the Grand Prix world championships. In 1967, Turner entered his first European race in Czechoslovakia, but he crashed his Bultaco 250 while leading in the rain. Ginger Molloy
Ginger Molloy (born 25 December 1937) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from New Zealand. He competed from 1965 to 1970 in the Grand Prix world championship. Growing up in Huntly, Molloy played rugby league for Huntly United alongside fellow future motorcycle champion Hugh Anderson. Molloy represented New Zealand schoolboys in rugby league before travelling to Europe in 1963. He won his only world championship race in the 250cc class at the 1966 250cc Ulster Grand Prix, riding a Bultaco. His best season was in 1970 when he rode a Kawasaki H1R to a second place finish behind Giacomo Agostini in the 500cc world championship. New Zealand road racers had a string of second placings in the premier class – Molloy in 1970, Keith Turner in 1971 and Kim Newcombe in 1973. Rob Bron
Rob Bron (16 May 1945 – 5 October 2009) was a Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from the Netherlands. He had his best year in 1971 when he finished in third place in the 500cc world championship behind Giacomo Agostini and Keith Turner. Bron died on October 5, 2009.

Belgian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The Belgian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that was part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season from 1949 to 1990. History The first official Belgian grand prix was held in 1949, but non-championship races were held as far back as 1921. Every Belgian GP was held at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, with the exception of the 1980 season when the round moved to the Zolder circuit due to problems with the new asphalt at Spa-Francorchamps in 1979. After the problems were resolved, Spa-Francorchamps became the host again from 1981 onwards. The last race was held in 1990, and was subject to controversy. At the time, the FIM–IRTA war was raging on, and the Belgian Grand Prix became a casualty of this. Dutch TT
The Dutch Tourist Trophy, also known as the ''TT Assen'', is an annual Dutch motorsport event established in 1925 for road racing motorcycles held on the TT Circuit Assen, also known as the ‘Cathedral of Speed'. The event attained world championship status in 1949 when it was sanctioned by the FIM as part of the inaugural Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship season, making it the oldest event on the MotoGP calendar. The venue holds the record for being the only circuit to have hosted a motorcycle Grand Prix event every year since the series was created in 1949, with the exception of 2020 when the race was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The races were traditionally held on the last Saturday of June however, from 2016 onwards it has been held on Sunday of the last weekend of June, bringing it in line with all other MotoGP races. 1971 Isle Of Man TT
The 1971 Isle of Man TT was a motorcycle event held on 12 June 1971, on the 37-mile Snaefell Mountain course on the Isle of Man between Great Britain and Ireland. It was the third round of the F.I.M. 1971 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season (now MotoGP). The unbelievable happened in 1971 - Agostini's MV broke down on the first lap of the Junior. The crowd cheered when it was announced that the Italian had stopped at Ramsey with engine problems. His demise produced a dramatic race in which many of the favourites either crashed or broke down. Yamaha's Phil Read led Alan Barnett, Rod Gould and Dudley Robinson at the end of the first lap. Gould then crashed at Quarterbridge, but continued. On lap three Barnett came off at Glen Helen, and a lap later Read retired with chassis problems. German Motorcycle Grand Prix
The German motorcycle Grand Prix, first held in 1925, is a part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Championship since 1952. The event is due to take place at the Sachsenring until at least 2026. History The first two ''Großer Preis von Deutschland'' races were held at Berlin's AVUS before moving to the new the purpose-built Nürburgring which was used in its full 28 km configuration. No GP was held in 1932, in 1933 the AVUS was given another try, and since 1934, public roads near and through Hohenstein-Ernstthal in Saxony were in use, initially without the name Sachsenring which had been used elsewhere. Austrian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The Austrian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that was part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season from 1971 to 1997, and then again from 2016 onwards. The event is due to take place at the Red Bull Ring until at least 2025. History The inaugural Austrian grand prix was held in 1971 at the Salzburgring, where it stayed until 1994. In 1995, the Austrian GP was taken off the calendar because the Salzburgring was deemed too dangerous for racing., but would return in 1996 on the then-called Österreichring. In 1997, the Österreichring became the A1-Ring, named after the Austrian mobile network operator A1. The Isle of Man TT or Tourist Trophy races are an annual motorcycle racing event run on the Isle of Man in May/June of most years since its inaugural race in 1907. The event is often called one of the most dangerous racing events in the world as many competitors have died.
