Keith Shologan
Keith Shologan (born November 26, 1985) is a Canadian football defensive tackle for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at UCF. Shologan has also been a member of the San Diego Chargers, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Ottawa Redblacks and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. College career Shologan spent four seasons at the University of Central Florida and also started all four years on the Knights' defensive line. As a senior in 2007, he recorded 33 tackles and 2.5 sacks. His performance earned him All-Conference USA second-team honours. Professional career San Diego Chargers Shologan was considered a top pick in the 2008 CFL Draft and a possible pick of the Edmonton Eskimos along with Dimitri Tsoumpas and Samuel Giguere. Most forms of football have a move known as a tackle. The primary purposes of tackling are to dispossess an opponent of the ball, to stop the player from gaining ground towards goal or to stop them from carrying out what they intend. The word is used in some contact variations of football to describe the act of physically holding or wrestling a player to the ground. 2013 CFL Expansion Draft
The 2013 Canadian Football League Expansion Draft was a three-round CFL Draft that took place on Monday December 16, 2013. It was designed to assign players from existing CFL teams to the expansion Ottawa Redblacks. The structure of the draft was announced on January 19, 2011, which described one round for selecting import players and two rounds for selecting non-import players. Additionally, the Redblacks were given the last pick in each of the first four rounds of the 2013 CFL Draft and will also be given the first pick in every round of the 2014 CFL Draft. The 98th Grey Cup was a Canadian football game played between the East Division champion Montreal Alouettes and West Division champion Saskatchewan Roughriders to decide the champion of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the 2010 season. In a rematch of the 97th Grey Cup, the Alouettes defeated the Roughriders for the second year in a row, 21–18, becoming the first team in 13 years to win back-to-back Grey Cups. Steven Jyles (born September 25, 1982) is a former professional Canadian football quarterback. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League in 2006. He played college football for Louisiana–Monroe. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a professional Canadian football team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Ken Miller (football Coach)
Ken Miller (born October 15, 1941) is currently an offensive consultant for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He previously served in the league as head coach and vice president of football operations for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He served as the Roughriders head coach between 2008 and 2010, leading the team to appearances in the Grey Cup in 2009 and 2010. Miller returned as head coach of the Roughriders on August 19, 2011, after the firing of Greg Marshall after a 1–7 start to the 2011 CFL season. Dimitri Tsoumpas OOM-pus(born September 26, 1985) is a former gridiron football guard who last played for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted by the Stampeders second overall in the 2008 CFL Draft. He played college football for Weber State. College career After playing for three straight city championship teams at Strathcona Composite High School he signed on to play at Weber State University. As a true freshman, Tsoumpas was a part of the starting lineup until he was injured. As a junior in 2006 he was named Honorable Mention All- Big Sky.
