Keith Oakes
Keith Brian Oakes (born 3 July 1956) is an English former professional footballer. His clubs included Peterborough United, Newport County and Gillingham. At Newport County Oakes was selected in the 1980 Fourth Division PFA Team of the Year and captained the team that won promotion and the Welsh Cup and in the subsequent season reached the quarter-final of the 1981 European Cup Winners Cup. He completed a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Salford and in the summer of 1991 succeeded Bill Harvey as physiotherapist at Peterborough United. In 1997, he became the physiotherapist at Lincoln City and had a brief spell as co-caretaker manager after the sacking of Phil Stant in 2001. Phil Stant
Philip Richard Stant (born 13 October 1962) is an English football manager, former professional footballer and British Army soldier who served in the Falklands War and was attached to the SAS. As a player he was a striker who after serving in the Army he entered professional football at the relatively late age of 24 but went on to score over 150 times in the Football League, most notably for Hereford United, Mansfield Town, Cardiff City and Lincoln City. He also played professionally for Reading, Notts County, Blackpool, Huddersfield Town, Fulham, Bury, Northampton Town and Brighton & Hove Albion. He spent his formative years in Non-League football for Worcester City, Dover Athletic, Hayes and Hinckley United. Bill Harvey (footballer Born 1920)
William Harvey (1920 – 3 February 2002) was an English footballer, more notable as a manager than as a player, who managed Luton Town and Grimsby Town. Career Harvey signed for his home town club Grimsby Town as a player before World War II, playing just once for the first team versus Sunderland (FA Cup Round 3 second leg, 9th January 1946) at outside right. After the end of hostilities, he decided to concentrate on coaching. His first managing appointment came in 1962, when he was made manager of Bedfordshire outfit Luton Town. In his first season Luton were relegated from Division Two, and Harvey resigned in November 1964. He returned to coaching, working at Swindon Town and Bristol City.
