Keith Magnuson
Keith Arlen Magnuson (April 27, 1947 – December 15, 2003) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman from Wadena, Saskatchewan who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) between 1969 and 1979. Magnuson played 589 career NHL games, all with the Chicago Black Hawks, wearing # 3, and scoring 14 goals and 125 assists for 139 points. Although he didn't score many goals, he was a part of a solid defensive team with the Blackhawks. Perhaps his most telling statistic is his 1,442 career penalty minutes, which included many fighting majors. For a few seasons, Magnuson was captain of the Chicago Blackhawks team. In April 1970, he appeared on the cover of ''Sports Illustrated''. In 1971 and 1972, Magnuson played in the National Hockey League All-Star Game. Trystan Magnuson
Trystan Stuart Gwyn Magnuson (born June 6, 1985) is a Canadian former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics. Career He was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays with the 56th pick in the 2007 MLB draft from the University of Louisville. He played in the minor leagues with the Blue Jays until being traded to the Oakland Athletics along with Daniel Farquhar for Rajai Davis after the 2010 season. Magnuson made his major league debut on May 17, 2011, against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He threw 1 inning and didn't give up a run. Western Collegiate Hockey Association
The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) is a college athletic conference which operates in the Midwestern United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a women's ice hockey-only conference. From 1951 to 1999, it operated as a men-only league, adding women's competition in the 1999–2000 season. It operated men's and women's leagues through the 2020–21 season; during this period, the men's WCHA expanded to include teams far removed from its traditional Midwestern base, with members in Alabama, Alaska, and Colorado at different times. The men's side of the league officially disbanded after seven members left to form the revived Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA); the WCHA remains in operation as a women-only league. Pierre Pilote
Joseph Albert Pierre Paul Pilote (December 11, 1931 – September 9, 2017) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and perennial All-Star, most notably for the Chicago Black Hawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), for which he served as team captain for seven seasons. He won the James Norris Memorial Trophy three times for best defenceman in the NHL. Early life Born in Kenogami, Quebec, Pilote's family moved to Fort Erie, Ontario, when he was 14 years old. Because the local rink collapsed in a storm, Pilote did not play his first organized hockey game until he was 17. He tried out with a Niagara Falls junior B team as a centre, but was turned down because the club needed a defenceman instead. Brian Greenspan
Brian H. Greenspan, (born March 14, 1947 in Niagara Falls, Ontario) is a Canadian lawyer. He is one of the most prominent and respected defence lawyers in Canada. Career Greenspan received his B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1968 and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1971. He received his LL.M. from the London School of Economics in 1972. Rob Ramage
George Robert Ramage (born January 11, 1959) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Colorado Rockies, St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, Minnesota North Stars, Tampa Bay Lightning, Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers. He also played one season in the World Hockey Association (WHA) for the Birmingham Bulls. Ramage was born in Byron, Ontario, but grew up in London, Ontario.
