Keith Hutchings
Keith Hutchings , is former a Canadian politician in Newfoundland and Labrador. From 2007 until 2019, he represented the district of Ferryland in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly for the Progressive Conservative Party. Hutchings served as the Minister of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Minister of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, the Minister responsible for the Office of Public Engagement and the Deputy House Leader. Before entering cabinet in 2011, Hutchings had served as a Parliamentary Secretary in several government departments. The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is a free-trade agreement between Canada and the European Union and its member states. It has been provisionally applied, thus removing 98% of the preexisting tariffs between the two parts. The negotiations were concluded in August 2014.
