Keith Hancock (musician)
Keith Hancock (born 1980) is an American two-time Grammy-nominated music instructor, winning the Grammy Music Educator of the Year award in 2017, and being nominated and selected as a top-10 finalist in 2016. He was the first vocal music educator to win the award as well as the first recipient on the West Coast. Hancock is the music director at Compass Bible Church in Aliso Viejo, California where he periodically sings in the worship band during weekend church services. He teaches music in the California public school system at Tesoro High School where he has grown the program from 35 to 225 students. Aliso Viejo, California
Aliso Viejo (Spanish for "Old Sycamore") is a city in the San Joaquin Hills of southern Orange County, California. It had a population of 47,823 as of the 2010 census, up from 40,166 as of the 2000 census. It became Orange County's 34th city on July 1, 2001, the only city in Orange County to be incorporated since 2000. It is bordered by the cities of Laguna Beach on the west and southwest, Laguna Hills on the east, Laguna Niguel on the southeast, and Laguna Woods on the north. Tesoro High School is a public high school in southern Orange County area of Las Flores, California, United States. Established in the fall of 2001, Tesoro is 1 of 6 regular high schools in the Capistrano Unified School District. As of the 2014–2015 year, Tesoro serves nearly 2500 students in grades 9–12. Students attending Tesoro are within the cities of Rancho Santa Margarita, Las Flores, Ladera Ranch, Coto de Caza and Mission Viejo. Achievements Tesoro is a California Distinguished School. The Hollywood Bowl is an amphitheatre in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It was named one of the 10 best live music venues in America by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine in 2018. The Hollywood Bowl is known for its distinctive bandshell, originally a set of concentric arches that graced the site from 1929 through 2003, before being replaced with a larger one to begin the 2004 season. The shell is set against the backdrop of the Hollywood Hills and the famous Hollywood Sign to the northeast. The "bowl" refers to the shape of the concave hillside into which the amphitheater is carved.
