Keith Gee
Keith Gee is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played as a forward in 12 games for the Brisbane Broncos from 1988 to 1989, including their first ever match. He also represented Queensland in a tour match against New Zealand in 1987. Gee is the brother of four time Broncos premiership player Andrew Gee and former Gold Coast Seagulls player Mark Gee. Playing career Gee made his first grade debut for Brisbane in Round 1, 1988 against Brisbane in the club's inaugural game as the Broncos defeated Manly-Warringah 44–10. Gee scored his only try for Brisbane the following week in a 20–18 victory over Penrith. In 1989, Gee joined the Gold Coast and played with the club for three seasons. The Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Football Club Ltd., commonly referred to as the Broncos, is an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Brisbane, Queensland. Founded in April 1987, the Broncos play in Australia's elite competition, the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership. The club has won six premierships, including two New South Wales Rugby League premierships, a Super League (Australia), Super League premiership and three NRL premierships. 1991 NSWRL Season
The 1991 NSWRL season was the eighty-fourth season of professional rugby league football in Australia. This year the New South Wales Rugby League experimented with a draft system for the first time. Sixteen clubs competed for the J J Giltinan Shield and Winfield Cup premiership during the season, which culminated in a replay of the previous year's grand final between the Canberra Raiders and the Penrith Panthers. Season summary The 1991 New South Wales Rugby League season started with controversy. For the first time a draft system which had been developed was put into operation. The draft allowed teams to recruit players on a roster system based on where the club finished the previous year. Electoral District Of Beaudesert
Beaudesert was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland from 1991 to 2017. Beaudesert encompassed rural and semi-urban regions located to the south of the Brisbane metropolitan area. Major communities located within this electoral included Beaudesert, Boonah, Aratula, Jimboomba, Tamborine, Canungra and Rathdowney. The seat was created at the 1991 redistribution largely from the territory of the abolished seat of Fassifern. It was a safe seat for the National Party, and its successor the Liberal National Party, throughout its entire existence, although former member Aidan McLindon left the LNP in 2010 to form The Queensland Party. He subsequently joined and became state leader of Katter's Australian Party in 2011, but lost his seat in 2012. The 2009 Queensland state election was held on 21 March 2009 to elect all 89 members of the Legislative Assembly, a unicameral parliament.
