Keith Andrews (art Historian)
Keith Andrews FRSE FSA (Hamburg, 11 October 1920 – 4 April 1989 in Edinburgh, Scotland), born Kurt Aufrichtig, was a British art historian and museum curator of German extraction. Life Andrews' father was Breslau born Max Aufrichtig (1879–1950), a banker in Hamburg. His mother, Sabine Kalter (1889–1957), was a leading mezzo-soprano at the State Opera. The family fled Nazi Germany in 1934 and settled in London. Andrews was sent to the International Quaker School at Eerde in the Dutch province of Overijssel. He contracted Poliomyelitis at the age of 17 which, apart from preventing his attendance of a university, left him dependent on walking aids for the rest of his life. He took employment at Messrs. Seligman Brothers, an antiquarian bookseller in Cecil Court, and attended evening lectures at the Courtauld Institute, where he earned a diploma in 1953. Keith Andrews (bishop)
Milton Keith Andrews (born 1954) is an American Anglican bishop. He is currently serving as the second bishop of the Diocese of Western Anglicans in the Anglican Church in North America. Ordained in the Episcopal Church, he was the rector of a congregation that split during the Anglican realignment. Education and early career Andrews received a B.A. and M.A. from Arizona State University, his M.Div. from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific and his D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary. His first clergy role was as assistant rector at All Saints Episcopal Church in Carmel, California, from 1981 to 1983, followed by serving as associate rector at Christ Church of the Ascension in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Keith Steven Andrews (born 3 May 1962) is a South African former rugby union player. Playing career Andrews completed his schooling at Selborne College in East London in the Eastern Cape, where played as a Flank. He also played Flank for the Western Province under–20 team after he moved to Cape Town to study at the University of Cape Town. He made his senior provincial debut for Western Province in 1985 as a Tighthead prop and spent 13 seasons with Western Province and was part of the Western Province team that won the Currie Cup in 1986 and 1997. He made his test debut for the Springboks against England on 14 November 1992 at Twickenham in London. Keith Joseph Andrews (born 13 September 1980) is an Irish former association footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He is currently the assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland national football team. Andrews began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he was their youngest captain in over a century. His club career also involved stints at Hull City and Milton Keynes Dons, as well as loan spells at Oxford United, Stoke City and Walsall while he was at Wolves. While at Milton Keynes Dons he was club captain, and helped secure promotion for his team with a vital goal, helped win his team the Football League Trophy by scoring in the final at Wembley and they were named in the PFA Team of the Year. Keith Vincent Andrew (15 December 1929 – 27 December 2010) was an English cricketer who played in two Tests, in 1954–55 and in 1963. Life and career Born in Greenacres, Oldham, Lancashire, Andrew was a fine wicketkeeper who might have played more times for England, but for the fact that his batting was never more than adequate, and his career coincided with that of Godfrey Evans. He was recruited out of the Lancashire League by Northamptonshire and became the county's regular wicketkeeper in 1954. He was a success straight away, and ''Wisden'' 's 1955 edition noted that he was "above the ordinary, a very quick perception enabling him to seize almost every chance".
