Keiland Williams
Keiland Terrell Williams (born August 14, 1986) is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at Louisiana State University. He also played for the Detroit Lions. Early years Williams began his prep career at Broussard middle school in Broussard Louisiana, then began his high school career at Northside High School in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he rushed for more than 2,500 yards and 30 touchdowns in his junior season. Williams was the Number three running back in the nation and number one in the state. He completed his eligibility at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia, where he became the first running back in school history to rush for more than 1,000 yards a season, finishing with 160 carries for 1,325 yards and 12 touchdowns. Ryan Grant (running Back)
Ryan Brett Grant (born December 9, 1982) is a former American football running back in the National Football League (NFL). Grant played college football at Notre Dame where he rushed for over 1,000 yards in his only year as the starting running back. He originally signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2005 but never played a game for them. Shortly before the 2007 season, Grant was traded to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a future sixth-round draft pick. He would go on to play for the Packers for six seasons. Grant had a successful first season with the Packers, rushing for almost 1,000 yards, including five 100+ yard games. The 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl was a college football bowl game, which formed part of the 2006–2007 Bowl Championship Series (BCS) of the 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Played on January 3, 2007, in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, it was the 73rd Sugar Bowl. The game matched the Notre Dame Fighting Irish against the LSU Tigers and was televised on Fox. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section).
