Kefalovryso, Ioannina
Kefalovryso (, rup, Migidei, Migidea) is a village and a community of the Pogoni municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was a part of the municipality of Ano Pogoni, of which it was a municipal district and the seat. The 2011 census recorded 838 residents in the village. The community of Kefalovryso covers an area of 15.831 km2. History The Greek newspaper '' Pigi Kefalovrysou'' mentioned in an article that in 1840 this village was founded by a lone ''tselingas'' (Greek for goatherd) named Nastas (Greek: ο τσέλιγκας Νάστας). Kefalovryso passed from the Ottoman Empire to Greece in 1913, during the Balkan Wars. In the 10th of July a massacre happened in the village. 22 men were put in two houses, with most of them being soldiers from the Greco-German war. Greek Euro Coins
Greek euro coins feature a unique design for each of the eight coins. They were all designed by Georgios Stamatopoulos with the minor coins depicting Greek ships, the middle ones portraying famous Greeks and the two large denominations showing images of Greek history and mythology. All designs feature the 12 stars of the EU, the year of imprint and a tiny symbol of the Bank of Greece. Uniquely, the value of the coins is expressed on the national side in the Greek alphabet, as well as being on the common side in the Roman alphabet. Gjirokastër (, sq-definite, Gjirokastra) is a city in the Republic of Albania and the seat of Gjirokastër County and Gjirokastër Municipality. It is located in a valley between the Gjerë mountains and the Drino, at 300 metres above sea level. Konitsa
Konitsa ( el, Κόνιτσα; see also names in other languages) is a town of Ioannina in Epirus, Greece. It is located north of the capital Ioannina and near the Albanian border. Northeast of Konitsa lies a group of villages known as the Zagorochoria. The town was built amphitheatrically-shaped on a mountain slope of the Pindos mountain range from where it overlooks the valley where the river Aoos meets the river Voidomatis. Konitsa acts as a regional hub for several small villages of Pindos, and features many shops, schools and a general hospital. Delvinaki ( el, Δελβινάκι) is a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pogoni, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 255.8 km2, the community 54.8 km2. In 2011 its population was 772 for the village and 2,540 for the municipal unit. Delvinaki is part of the traditional area of Pogoni.
