Keenan Tomlinson
Keenen Tomlinson (born 22 May 1997) is a Jamaica international rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Featherstone Rovers in Betfred Championship. Background Tomlinson was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, and is the son of former Keighley Cougars winger, Max Tomlinson. He is of Jamaican descent. He played rugby union with Moortown as a child before starting to play rugby league for Stanningley. Playing career Bradford Bulls Tomlinson came through the youth system at the Bradford Bulls, making his debut in the 2017 season. He spent time on loan from Bradford at the London Skolars in League 1. Batley Bulldogs Tomlinson left the Bulls at the end of 2017 to join the Batley Bulldogs ahead of the 2018 RFL Championship. 2018 RFL Championship
The 2018 Rugby Football League Championship is a rugby league football competition played primarily in the United Kingdom, one tier below the first tier Super League. The 2018 season is the fourth to consist of the Super 8s structure combining the Championship and Super League three-quarters of the way through the season. The 2018 Championship features 12 teams, which all play one another twice in the regular season, once at home, and once away, totalling 22 games. The 2018 season also features the " Summer Bash Weekend" for a fourth time. This is a 23rd round of fixtures which replicates Super League's Magic Weekend concept for the Championship sides. Featherstone is a town and civil parish in the City of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, two miles south-west of Pontefract. 2021 Rugby League World Cup – Men's Tournament
The 2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup, was the 16th Rugby League World Cup, and one of three major tournaments of the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The tournament was held in England from 15 October 2022 to 19 November 2022. It was originally due to be held between 23 October 2021 and 27 November 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent withdrawals of Australia and New Zealand caused the tournament to be postponed. 16 teams competed in the tournament, an increase of two from the previous two tournaments and the first to feature 16 teams since the 2000 Rugby League World Cup. For the first time, the Rugby League World Cup was run alongside the women's and wheelchair tournaments with all participants being paid the same, while all 61 matches in the three tournaments were broadcast live.
