As of the tenth season, he has been replaced by Claire Robinson Claire Robinson is a television host, author and cook. ''Food Network Challenge'' is a competitive cooking television series that aired on the Food Network. In each episode, professional chefs vie in a timed competition in their professional specialty. The winner receives a cheque for $10,000 and a gold medal. The first run of the series started in 2005 as a number of specials, before becoming a regular series that launched in 2007 and ended in 2011. On November 18, 2019, it was announced that the show would resume, with a premiere on December 23, 2019. Ian Ziering will be the new host. Format The competitions are judged by specialists in their culinary fields, dependent upon the particular 'challenge'. Contestants are given eight hours to complete a task and must adhere to the competition rules; for example, edible art cake competitions often require that a cake reaches a minimum height, exhibits a certain theme, and is able to be moved to a judging table without falling over. Claire Robinson is a television host, author and cook. She graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 2005 and was a television host of the Food Network series '' 5 Ingredient Fix''. On April 4, 2010, she debuted as the new host of Food Network Challenge replacing Keegan Gerhard who hosted the program from 2005 to 2010. Kerry Vincent (' Flynn; 1 June 1945 – 2 January 2021) was an Australian television personality and baker. She was a judge on several Food Network shows, as well the co-founder of the annual ''Oklahoma Sugar Art Show''. Career Vincent was a specialist cake designer. She wrote the book ''Romantic Wedding Cakes'' which was published by Merehurst Press in 2002. She was inducted into the International Cake Exploration Societé (ICES) Sugarcraft Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C. in 2004. Vincent was instrumental in bringing fondant icing to the United States.
