Kaysha
Kaysha (born 1974) is a singer/rapper and producer from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is the son of Congolese politician Édouard Mokolo Wa Mpombo. Career He was born in Kinshasa but emigrated to France with his parents at the age of seven. Kaysha's first single, which used a sample from French West Indian band Kassav's ''Oulé'', was called "Bounce Baby". Kaysha's second single was "Telephone", from his album ''I'm Ready''. The next year, he changed his entire style to record a more urban album called ''Worldwidechico'' with a duo with Wu-Tang Clan's Killah Priest. One of his biggest single is the global African hit "On dit quoi", from his album ''It's All Love'', released on his own label Sushiraw in 2003. Elizio, aka Mister ODC (Original Di Cabo Verde) is a singer-songwriter born in Angola in 1979, of Cape Verdean origin. Revealed with the title ''10 fois, 100 fois'' featuring Perle Lama in 2003, Elizio quickly meets his first big solo success with ''Melodia'' which leads him to the top of the zouk scene. Kora Award
The KORA All Africa Music Awards are music awards given annually for musical achievement in sub-Saharan Africa. The awards were founded in 1994 by Benin born businessman, Ernest Adjovi, after a discussion in Namibia with the country's President Hage Geingob. The award is named after the kora, a West African plucked chordophone. The awards have been subject to several postponements since 1994 with a variety of reasons given. Problems have arisen with contracts signed, large sums of monies have been paid and the event postponed. In 2011 Adjovi was detained by the Nigerian Police Force with allegations he defrauded three Nigerian bodies. In 2008 Adjovi allegedly accepted S2.5 million for the 2008 Awards to be hosted by the Cross River State Government. He later allegedly struck an agreement with the Lagos State Government for US$7.5 million but the awards were not staged until 2010 in Burkina Faso. Soumia
Soumia Bahri or just Soumia (born August 27, 1977 in Saint-Mandé, Val-de-Marne) is a French Zouk singer. Biography Soumia Bahri was born near Paris (France) to Moroccan parents, She has a Master's degree in linguistics. Her first involvement in music was by doing background vocals in a rapband. In 1998 she teams up with singer ''Talina'' to record the Zouksong ''Temps pou Temps''. This earned her some popularity in the Paris music scene. ''All That Matters'' is an album by Michael Bolton, released in 1997, and was his first studio album since 1993's '' The One Thing''. Bolton was aided in production by Babyface and Tony Rich, and among the songwriters are Bolton, Diane Warren, Babyface, Lamont Dozier, Gary Burr, and Tony Rich.
