Kawasaki B8
The Kawasaki B8 was a 125cc street motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki Motorcycle Corporation, Kawasaki Aircraft, LTD from 1962 through 1965. History The B8 was the first motorcycle to be built completely from Kawasaki components. The B8 was based on the Meihatsu B7 which had used Kawasaki engines. The Kawasaki B8 is said to have been popular in Japan because of durability and low cost. The 125cc two stroke, piston inlet valve engine produced 11 horsepower at 8,000 RPM and was designed based on engineering knowledge from Kawasaki Aircraft. The tank emblems read "Kawasaki Aircraft". Kawasaki Heavy Industries Motorcycle & Engine Company (川崎重工業モーターサイクル&エンジンカンパニー) is a division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries that produces motorcycles, ATVs, utility vehicles, jet ski personal watercraft, and general-purpose petrol engines. Air-cooled
Air-cooled engines rely on the circulation of air directly over heat dissipation fins or hot areas of the engine to cool them in order to keep the engine within operating temperatures. Kawasaki B8M Red-Tank Furore
The B8M was the first racing motorcycle by Kawasaki and it was produced from 1962 - 1965, created based on the Kawasaki B8 which itself is based on the Meihatsu B7. The Red-Tank Furore had a two-stroke 123 cc Kawasaki rotary inlet valve cast iron engine. It was equipped with a four-speed transmission.
