Katie Rox is a Canadian singer-songwriter from a farm on the outskirts of Airdrie, Alberta, who lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. She performed in the past under the name Katie B. Career Katie Rox has previously provided backup vocals for Mandy Moore. She also sings most of the backup vocals on Songs From Instant Star 2, released in April, 2006, by Alexz Johnson, and has a cameo in the Jeremy Fisher video for "Cigarette." Jakalope Rox was the original lead singer of Jakalope. She was asked to be a part of the band when she met Dave Ogilvie, Dave "Rave" Ogilvie at The Warehouse Studio (recording studio owned by Bryan Adams) where she was working reception. After singing just one song, Rox was hired on to be the lead vocalist, as well as writing lyrics and melodies on the first two albums. Airdrie ( ) is a city in Alberta, Canada within the Calgary Region. It is located north of Calgary within the Calgary–Edmonton Corridor at the intersection of Queen Elizabeth II Highway (Highway 2) and Highway 567. The first single from the album, "Upside Down (And I Fall)", was released with an accompanying video. The second single from the album is "Digging Deep", the video for which apparently returned to the themes of its predecessors from ''It Dreams''. ''It Dreams'' is the debut album by Jakalope, released on October 26, 2004. The music videos made for the album are known for the clone and hybrid theme connected to the band. Videos featuring Dave Ogilvie as a Dr. Evar and Katie B presented a sort of story for fans to follow, bolstered by a site contest which allowed fans insight into the so-called 'Jakalope world', and hinted at the back story of Dr. Evar and Katie's characters. A large part of the plot was left to the interpretation of fans in the end, especially concerning the Katie B character. As a CD, this album is only available as an import from Canada and Japan. Robert Jens Rock (born April 19, 1954) is a Canadian record producer, sound engineer and musician, best known for producing rock bands and music artists such as Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, The Tragically Hip, the Cult, 311, Our Lady Peace, Bryan Adams, the Offspring, Michael Bublé, Black Veil Brides, David Lee Roth, and Ron Sexsmith. Thomas William Cochrane ( ; born May 14, 1953) is a Canadian musician best known as the frontman for the rock band Red Rider and for his work as a solo singer-songwriter. Cochrane has won eight Juno Awards. He is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, an officer of the Order of Canada, and has an honorary doctorate from Brandon University. The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 1999.
