Kathleen Rodriguez
Kathleen Camille Muldong Rodriguez (born December 27, 1994) is a Filipino international footballer who plays as a midfielder for PFF Women's League club Kaya and the Philippines women's national team. Early life and education Rodriguez was born in Zamboanga City on December 27, 1994. She studied at Miriam College High School for her secondary studies. Rodriguez attended the Ateneo de Manila University where she pursued a degree in psychology. Career Early years Rodriguez took up the sport of football in 2005. She participated in tournaments organized by the Rizal Football Association (RIFA) and played for Miriam at the Women's National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA). She was named MVP in various RIFA-organized tournaments, mostly 9-a-sides, and was named to the Mythical Selection of the WNCAA from the 39th to the 41st season. Football At The 2021 Southeast Asian Games – Women's Tournament
The women's football tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games was held from 9–21 May 2022 in Vietnam. Seven Southeast Asian nations participated in the women's tournament. All matches were played in Quảng Ninh. There was no age limit for this tournament. Indonesia women's national football team, Indonesia withdrew from the competition after the draw. 2019–20 PFF Women's League
The 2019–20 PFF Women's League season is the third season of the women's national league of the Philippines following the 2018 season. De La Salle University is the defending champions. Format The league adopted a double round-robin format with a projected 90 matches to be played from July 27, 2019. The primary venue for the league's matches is the PFF National Training Centre in Carmona, Cavite. Matches will be usually held in the weekends with select matches to be held during the weekdays. The league's first round ran until mid-October 2019 with the second round beginning on October 19, 2019. Though initially planned to last until December 2019, the league season's duration was extended to the following year with the first matches of 2020 to be held on January 11, 2020. 2018 PFF Women's League
The 2018 PFF Women's League season is the second season of the women's national league of the Philippines following the 2016–17 season. The organization of a second season for the league was reported as early as July 2018. Ten clubs participated for the second season which will run from August 25 to November 11 2018, with De La Salle Zobel and Tuloy F.C. making their debuts. The University of Santo Tomas and the De La Salle University played against each other in the ''de facto'' final on November 11, 2018 where the latter won 2–1 over the former. Format The league followed a single round robin format for the second season. Matches are to be played on weekends. The 2016–17 PFF Women's League season is the inaugural of the women's national league of the Philippines. The season started on November 12, 2016 and ended on November 20, 2017. The De La Salle University secured the league title on their first second round match against OutKast winning over the latter, 3–0. Format The league follows a double round robin format. The team with the most points by the end of the season are crowned champions. The first round which was held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium commenced in November 12, 2016 and lasted until July 2017. The second round was initially scheduled to take place from May 20, 2017 to July 16, 2017, three months after the end of the first round at the Biñan Football Stadium. UAAP Season 79 (also known as UAAP LXXIX) is the 2016–2017 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season, hosted by the University of Santo Tomas officially opened on September 3, 2016. The opening ceremony was held at the UST Plaza Mayor at 3:00 pm with the formal introduction of ballroom dancing as a demonstration sport in this season by the host school University of Santo Tomas (UST) at España, Manila. The official ceremony started at 5:00 pm as there was a concert party themed "Dare to Dream" where the official theme song for the season was revealed. UAAP Season 77 is the 2014–15 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). The season host is the University of the East with Carmelita Mateo as president. Eight universities are competing in fifteen sports to vie for the general championship. Each sporting event is hosted by a school. Some of these sporting events are aired live or on a delayed telecast by ABS-CBN Sports+Action and ABS-CBN Channel 2. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines Football Championship is usually held during the second semester of the school year (December–April). Tournament format The tournament has three divisions: men, women and boys. As of season 77 (2014–15), eight member universities field a team in the men's division and five in the women's division. The number of participating schools increased to eight from seven in the men's division. Adamson University fielded a men's team in Season 77 (2014–15).
