Catherine Webb
Catherine Webb (born 1986) is a British author. She also writes fantasy novels for adults under the name Kate Griffin, and she writes science fiction as Claire North. Life Webb was educated at the Godolphin and Latymer School, London, and the London School of Economics. She was 14 years old when she completed ''Mirror Dreams'', which was written during her school holidays. Her father is author and publisher Nick Webb, and he suggested she should send the manuscript to an agent he knew, who eventually offered to represent her. The book was published in 2002 by Atom Books, and Webb was named Young Trailblazer of the Year by the magazine '' CosmoGirl'' UK. She has published eight young adult novels, all with Atom Books, and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, from which she graduated in 2010. Katrina Webb
Katrina Lea Webb-Denis, OAM (born 22 May 1977) is an Australian Paralympic athlete with cerebral palsy. She has won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in athletics at three Paralympic Games. Personal Webb has a mild form of cerebral palsy which was diagnosed when she was two years old. Her parents did not tell her of the disability. Her cerebral palsy was diagnosed again when she won an Australian Institute of Sport netball scholarship. AIS staff found a weakness in her right leg, which was shorter than her left leg. She was then encouraged to become involved in disability sport. After winning the 100m at the 1996 Atlanta Games, she faced criticism over her legitimacy to compete at the Games. Sarah Kathleen Gosling (Nee Webb) (born 13 January 1977 in Ashford, Surrey) is a British professional sailor and twice Olympic gold medalist. Sailing career Webb joined the Royal Yachting Association's youth squad and competed in the Laser Radial class in the ISAF Youth World Championships in 1995 and 1996. She won a gold medal in the Yngling sailing class in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, together with Shirley Robertson and Sarah Ayton, collectively nicknamed "Three Blondes in a Boat." Kate Webb (24 March 1943 – 13 May 2007) was a New Zealand-born Australian war correspondent for UPI and Agence France-Presse. She earned a reputation for dogged and fearless reporting throughout the Vietnam War, and at one point she was held prisoner for weeks by North Vietnamese troops. After the war, she continued to report from global hotspots including Iraq during the Gulf War.
