Kate Mason
Kate Mason is a British sports journalist and broadcaster. Personal life Mason grew up in the village of Oundle in North Northamptonshire. Her mother was an English teacher and Mason read English Literature at Cambridge University. She decided to pursue a career in sports journalism after being inspired by female journalists such as Clare Balding at the 2012 Summer Olympics and Jacqui Oatley on ''Match of the Day''. Her mother is a Wolverhampton Wanderers fan but like her father, Mason is a fan of Tottenham Hotspur. Oundle
Oundle () is a market town on the left bank of the River Nene in North Northamptonshire, England, which had a population of 5,735 at the time of the United Kingdom Census 2011, 2011 census. It is north of London and south-west of Peterborough. The town is home to Oundle School. History The town's name origin is uncertain. It is probably an old district name, in a grammatical form suggesting a tribal name, 'the Undalas'. Discoveries of prehistoric and Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman materials suggest that Oundle has been a settlement location for several thousand years. Findings have included a number of Iron Age coins, and Roman bronze pins, coins and skeletons. ''EFL on Quest'' was a football highlights programme on the Quest channel in the United Kingdom. The programme covered the English Football League, taking over from Channel 5's '' Football League Tonight''. History Starting from the 2018–19 season, the four-year deal saw Quest provide 90 minutes of extensive match highlights of the English Championship, League One and League Two, hosted by Colin Murray, in primetime at 9pm every Saturday night. As a result, the channel announced a HD version would launch in July 2018. It launched on 21 July 2018 on Virgin Media channel 217 but was removed on 24 July 2018.
