Kate Cameron
Kate Cameron is an English house and trance music singer with a rich alto voice. She signed with MCA in the dance/pop group GMT in 1991, releasing "Feel So Good" and "Inner City Blues" before they were dropped in 1993. Cameron then worked as a session singer, coming to prominence via her involvement with Norman Cook as the vocalist on his Pizza Man single, "P.A.S.S.I.O.N." which went on to be a hit for Jon of the Pleased Wimmin, peaking at number 27 on the UK chart in 1995. Her vocals also featured at this time on Zion Train's album ''Grow Together'', singing lead on "Stand Up and Fight" and the single "Rise" released in 1996 on China. Signum (musical Group)
Signum is the name for two Dutch producers, Pascal Minnaard () and Ronald Hagen (). They are producers who create and remix mainly trance music. Career Originally they both lived in Zoetermeer, a city in the Netherlands. In 2008, Minnaard moved to Norway with his fiancé. Both Hagen and Minnaard still work together with the aid of internet technology and share projects together to create Signum tracks and DJ sets. Their first notable mainstream success was in 1997 with "What Ya Got 4 Me" (based on Tony de Vit's "The Dawn"), becoming a club anthem. This song was re-released in 2001 and entered the Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Deborah Cameron (linguist)
Deborah Cameron (born 10 November 1958) is a feminist linguist who currently holds the Rupert Murdoch Professorship in Language and Communication at Worcester College, Oxford University. Cameron is mainly interested in sociolinguistics and linguistic anthropology. A large part of her academic research is focused on the relationship of language to gender and sexuality. She wrote the book '' The Myth of Mars And Venus: Do Men and Women Really Speak Different Languages?'', which was published in 2007. Freak Power
Freak Power was a band founded by bassist Norman Cook (later known as Fatboy Slim), Ashley Slater (the trombonist with the anarchic British jazz big band Loose Tubes), and vocalist Jesse Graham, also known as "the Bass Cadet". Their music was a mix of acid jazz, funk, soul, and trip hop. Although not credited, the London-based session bass player Dale Davis recorded bass and guitar on their debut album ''Drive-Thru Booty''. Victor Calderone (born March 20, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York (state), New York, United States) is an American electronic music producer, Disc jockey, DJ and remixer.
