Katariina Kaitue
Katariina Kaitue (born 21 January 1967 in Helsinki) is a Finnish actress. She has been a regular actress since 1991 at the Finnish National Theatre, where she has performed dozens of roles. Kaitue studied at the Helsinki Theatre Academyi from 1987 to 1991. Along with her theatre career, she has appeared in films and performed voice acting, among other things in Disney's cartoons. Kaitue is the daughter of actress Liisamaija Laaksonen and sister of business manager Karri Kaitue. In 2007, Kaitue became engaged to Matti Vänskä. She has two children from her previous marriage with Sakari Harima. ''The Tough Ones'' () is a 1999 Finnish film directed by Aleksi Mäkelä. Liisamaija Laaksonen-Kaitue''Kuka kukin on 2007.'' Otava 2006. (born 6 May 1938 in Lahti) is a Finnish actress, who has become famous for her roles in films and television series. She wrote several television shows in the 1990s and 2000s. Biography Laaksonen attended the Helsinki Theatre Academy from 1960 to 1963 and worked as a regular actress of Yle 1963-1998 and since 1998 as a free artist. She has appeared at the Finnish National Theatre, Intimiteatter, Helsinki City Theatre, Finnish National Opera, and Savonlinna Opera Festival. In addition, she has been reading poetry throughout Finland, as well as in Sweden, Germany, the United States, and Canada. ''Tommy and the Wildcat'' ( fi, Poika ja ilves) is a 1998 Finnish adventure family film directed by Raimo O. Niemi and Ville Suhonen, and starring Konsta Hietanen. It tells story about Tommy, the twelve-year-old boy, who tries to help a lynx named Leevi to survive in the wilderness. The lynx in the film was a played by lynx named Väinö from the Ranua Zoo. Väinö was born in 1996 and died in May 1999. It is assumed that he climbed up the mesh fence and fell on a sharp stone, which resulted in the death of the animal. Väinö had gotten used to people as a kitty when he had grown up in home care after being abandoned by his mother. The film was shot in both Finnish and English.
