Katalin Bogyay
Katalin Annamária Bogyay (born 20 August 1956) is a Hungarian ambassador, diplomat, journalist and the President of the United Nations Association of Hungary since April 2021. She has been a lecturer at the Corvinus University of Budapest since 2022, and teaching at the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy since 2021. In 2021 she founded the Women4Diplomacy movement. She served as the 15th Permanent Representative of Hungary to the United Nations in New York (1 January 2015 - 31 December 2020). She is the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Delegate of Hungary to UNESCO (2009–2014) and the President of the 36th session of UNESCO General Conference (2011–2013). Katalin Szili
Katalin Szili (born 13 May 1956) is a Hungarian politician and jurist, a former Member of the National Assembly, who served as Speaker of the National Assembly from 2002 to 2009. Following an administrative career in the Hungarian People's Republic, she was a long-time member of the left-wing Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP). She was Member of Parliament from 1994 to 2014, and was considered a leading politician of her party for a decade. After the 2014 election, she gradually became a proponent of the right-wing Fidesz government, voicing nationalist and anti-immigrant slogans. Katalin Bánffy de Alsólindva () was a 16th-century Hungarian noblewoman, the wife of general and politician Ferenc Batthyány. Life Katalin Bánffy, a member of the noble Bánffy family of Lendava, was the wife of Ban Ferenc Batthyányi. Her husband spent much of his time away from home at war, or in assembly, and so there was a great exchange of letters between the two. Against the custom of the times, these letters were written mostly in Hungarian. Katalin Pálinger (born 6 December 1978) is a former Hungarian handball goalkeeper who most notably played for Győri Audi ETO KC. Career She made her international debut on 22 August 1997 against Romania, and participated in her first World Women's Handball Championship, World Championship in that year, however, she finished with the national team only on the disappointing ninth place. One year later, on the 1998 European Women's Handball Championship, 1998 European Championship Hungary performed slightly better and captured a bronze medal, followed by a gold on the next continental event. Katalin Szőke
Katalin Szőke (17 August 1935 – 27 October 2017) was a Hungarian swimmer. She competed at the 1952 Olympics and won two gold medals, in the 100 m and 4 × 100 m freestyle events. Two years later she repeated that success at the 1954 European Championships. She also competed in these two events at the 1956 Olympics but without success. During her career Szőke set four world records. In 1985 she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Katalin Cseh (born 29 June 1988) is a Canadian-born Hungarian physician and politician. She was elected as a Momentum Movement (part of the Renew Europe party group) Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in the 2019 parliamentary election. Early life and career Katalin Cseh was born on 29 June 1988 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her early education was at Toldy Ferenc High School in Budapest, Hungary.
