Kastamonu Bld. GSK ( tr, Kastamonu Belediyesi Gençlik Spor Kulübü) is the women's handball team of the same named club sponsored by the Municipality of Kastamonu, Turkey. The team competes in the Turkish Super League and the 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League. Colors The club colors are white, red and black. Competitions Domestic Kastamonu Bld. GSK compete in the Turkish Super League. In July 2015, six notable players, including two Turkish Yeliz Yılmaz and Serpil İskenderoğlu as well as four foreigners Maja Kožnjak, Martin Pavic, Ivana Zafirova and Dorina Emilia Carbune, were transferred for the 2015–16 season. The Women's EHF European League is an annual competition for women's handball clubs of Europe. It is organized by the EHF. It is currently the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. Milena Raičević née Knežević, (born 12 March 1990) is a Montenegrin international handballer for ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica and the Montenegrin national team. International career She was part of the Montenegro international set-up since the younger age categories and won the bronze medal at the 2010 Junior World Championship. She made her championship debut in the 2010 European Women's Handball Championship. A year later she participated at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil. In 2012, she participated in the 2012 Olympic Games in London where she was a silver medalist after Montenegro lost the final match against Norway 26–23. 2021–22 Women's EHF Champions League
The 2021–22 Women's EHF Champions League was the 29th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament, running from 11 September 2021 to 5 June 2022. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, each local health department allowed a different number of spectators. Vipers Kristiansand defended their title after a finals win over Győri Audi ETO KC. The Women's EHF Champions League is the competition for the top women's handball clubs in Europe, organised annually by the European Handball Federation (EHF). It is the most prestigious tournament for clubs, with the champions of Europe's top national leagues participating.
