Kasper Risgård
Kasper Winde Risgård (born 4 January 1983) is a retired Danish footballer who played as a midfielder. Career AaB Risgård was introduced to top flight football late in the 2002–03 season when AaB surprisingly found themselves struggling in the bottom of the table. Risgård made some fine displays, including a goal in the DONG Cup semifinal against Brøndby IF and a vital winner against Køge BK. During the next seasons, Risgård fell further away from the team and was eventually loaned out to local rivals FC Nordjylland. When he returned to AaB, he remained a substitute but due to many injuries, Risgård got a new chance as central defender in the end of the 2005–06 season, where he played well for half a year before being moved once again in the fall of 2007. Aalborg (, , ) is Denmark's fourth largest town (behind Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense) with a population of 119,862 (1 July 2022) in the town proper and an urban population of 143,598 (1 July 2022). The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title. The 2013–14 Danish Cup was the 60th season of the Danish Cup competition. It was the third season since its rebranding as the ''DBU Pokalen'' (The DBU Cup). The winner of the competition qualified for the play-off round of the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League. First round 94 teams were drawn into this round. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. The final traditionally takes place on ''Kristi Himmelfarts Dag'' ( The Ascension) and it is always played in the Danish national stadium Parken. The 2013–14 Danish Superliga season was the 24th season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. Teams AC Horsens and Silkeborg IF finished the 2012–13 season in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 2013–14 1st Division. 2007–08 Danish Superliga
The 2007–08 Danish Superliga season was the 18th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determined the winners of the Danish football championship. It was governed by the Danish Football Association. It started with the first match on July 18, 2007 and ended with the final match on May 24, 2008. The Danish champions qualified for UEFA Champions League 2008-09. The runners-up and no. 3 qualified for the UEFA Cup 2008-09. The 4th placed team qualified for the UEFA Intertoto Cup 2008. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks.
