Alain Kashama
Alain Kaleta Olony T. Kashama (born December 8, 1979) is a Canadian former football defensive end who played in the Canadian Football League and National Football League. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. Kashama has also played for the Seattle Seahawks, Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Early life Kashama was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo before moving to Brampton, Ontario and then Montreal, Quebec as a child. Because of this move, Kashama is fluent in French. He played high school football at Vieux Montreal, and recorded over 200 tackles and 50 sacks while being ranked as the second best prep player in Canada. Fernand Kashama
Fernand Kashama (born February 26, 1985) is a former Canadian football defensive lineman who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the second round of the 2008 CFL Draft. He played college football for the Western Michigan Broncos. He also played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Early years Kashama was born on February 26, 1985, in Kinshasa, Congo and grew up in Brampton, Ontario. During his senior season in high school, he played both wide receiver and free safety. He recorded 30 catches for 700 receiving yards. College career Kashama was recruited by Boise State, Marshall, Rutgers and Western Michigan, before eventually choosing the latter. Hakeem Kashama
Nicolas "Hakeem" Kashama (born February 22, 1978) is a former professional gridiron football defensive end. He was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football for the Connecticut Huskies. Kashama was also a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Calgary Stampeders. His brothers Alain, Fernand, and Kalonji, as well as his cousin, Tim Biakabutuka all played professional football. Professional career Cleveland Browns Kashama went undrafted in the 2004 NFL Draft and signed with the Cleveland Browns on May 19, 2004. He was released on June 2 before being re-signed on July 6. On July 21, he was released for the second and final time. Hamilton Tiger-Cats Kashama signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on August 9, 2004.
