Karwan-E-Hayat
''Karwan-E-Hayat'' is a 1935 Urdu/Hindi costume action-adventure film. The film is directed by Premankur Atorthy, with assistance by Hemchandra, for New Theatres Ltd. Calcutta; and it was produced by Lahore branch of New Theatres. The cast included K. L. Saigal, Rattan Bai, Pahari Sanyal, Rajkumari, Shyama Zutshi, Gul Hamid, Rajkumari, Molina, Shyama Zutshi, Siddiqi, Kapoor and Rana. The cinematographer was Krishna Gopal, with music composed by Mihir Kiran Bhattacharya and his brother Timir Baran Bhattacharya, with lyrics by Hakim Ahmad Shuja Pasha. The film, a costume drama, involved the Prince Pervez on the run from an arranged marriage to a princess, only to fall in love with her when they meet in unusual circumstances. Plot Pervez (K. L. Shyama Zutshi
Shyama Zutshi (1919 – 1953) was a Bollywood actress who was the first Kashmiri Girl who joined films in 1934. She was born in 1910 at the Anand Bhavan in Allahabad . Early life Shyama Zutshi was born on 8 February 1910 in Allahabad. She was the daughter of Barrister Pandit Ladli Prasad Zutshi who is the only son of Patrani (Sister of Motilal Nehru). She was admitted to Sacred Heart Convent, Lahore by her mother lado rani. She was fluent in English, Gujarati, Marathi, Urdu, Kashmiri and Hindi. Gul Hamid
Gul Hamid (1905-1936) was an Indian actor. He started his acting career in silent films and later played leading roles in talkies. He had many honors to his credit. He acted in ''Heer Ranjha'', the first film produced in Punjabi and in '' Seeta'', a talkie that won an honorary diploma in the 1934 Venice Film Festival and that was also the first Indian film shown at an International film festival. Hamid also wrote the script, acted in, and directed the film ''Khyber Pass'' (1936). Hamid died of Hodgkin's Disease in 1936. Life Gul Hamid was born in Pirpiai, a village near the Kabul River in the North West Frontier Province of British India (now in Pakistan). His father was Saif Ullah Khan.
