Karulina Koogu
''Karulina Koogu'' is a 1994 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed by D. Rajendra Babu and produced by vizag Raju. The film stars Prabhakar, Vinaya Prasad and Srinath. The film was widely popular for the songs composed and written by Hamsalekha upon release. The film is a remake of Malayalam hit '' Akashadoothu'' (1993) directed by Sibi Malayil and was subsequently remade in Telugu as '' Mathrudevobhava'' (1993). Both the versions had actress Madhavi in the lead role. However, in Kannada version, she was replaced by Vinaya Prasad. Plot A Church-like Hindu order provides the spiritual context for this unusual story about the extinction of a lower-class alcoholic family. Dennis Joseph (20 October 1957 – 10 May 2021) was an Indian scriptwriter and director known for his work in Malayalam films. He was active during the 1980s and early 1990s. He frequently collaborated with directors Joshi (director), Joshi and Thambi Kannanthanam. Umashree
Umashree (born 10 May 1957) is an Indian actress and politician. She is known for her portrayal of film roles spoken in the Kannada language (over 400), particularly comic roles. She received National Film Award for Best Actress for her role as Gulabi in the 2008 Kannada movie Gulabi Talkies. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu.
