Kartoos
''Kartoos'' () is a 1999 Indian Hindi action thriller film directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starring Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala. It was the last release of Mahesh Bhatt as a director until the release of ''Sadak 2'' (2020). The film borrows its plot idea from the 1993 film ''Point of No Return'', which in turn is a remake of the French film ''La Femme Nikita (film), La Femme Nikita'', where Bridget Fonda essays a role which is very similar to that character of Sanjay Dutt. The movie was partly remade in Tamil as ''Paramasivan'' (2006). Plot A cop ACP Jay Suryavanshi ( Jackie Shroff) trains a criminal Raja (Sanjay Dutt) to eliminate underworld don Jagat Jogia (Gulshan Grover). Jay performs a surgery and implants a transmitter in Raja's leg when the latter meets with an accident. So wherever Raja travels, Jay can track his movements (even when he is in the UK). Mahesh Bhatt
Mahesh Bhatt (born 20 September 1948) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter known for his works in Hindi cinema. A stand-out film from his earlier period is ''Saaransh'' (1984), screened at the 14th Moscow International Film Festival. Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan ( pa, ; born Pervez Fateh Ali Khan; 13 October 1948 – 16 August 1997) was a Pakistani singer, songwriter, and music director. Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in India's Hindi language film industry.
