Johnny Deluxe
Johnny Deluxe is a Danish music band. Formed in London by the lead singer Noam Halby, bassist Jakob S. Glæsner and guitarist Søren Itenov in 2000, the group was later joined by Morten Lynggaard in 2002. The band took part in ''KarriereKanonen'' run by Danish radio station P3 in 2003, and released the EP ''Elskovspony'' in November of the same year. In January 2004, the group signed a contract with Copenhagen Records and subsequently released their debut album, ''Johnny Deluxe'' on 24 May 2004. The album has been certified two times platinum for having sold more than 60,000 copies. The group was awarded "Best Danish Debut" at the Zulu Awards in November 2004. In 2005, the group played more than 100 concerts, including the ''Grøn Koncert'' tour, and released their second album, ''LUXUS'', in October 2005. The Eclectic Moniker
The Eclectic Moniker is a musical collective from Odense, Denmark consisting of various Danish musicians. The collective is called "eclectic" because it draws from multiple influences and styles to gain complementary insights into music. It plays indie pop mixed with 3rd world / calypso influences. The collective formed in February 2010 fronting singer songwriter Frederik Vedersø. Originally it started as a trio with a great number of others joining in at later dates. Its self-titled debut album ''The Eclectic Moniker'' went straight into #9 in its week of release in 2012. The single released on 18 February 2012 and called "Easter Island" has become a great radio hit. From its inception, the band toured Denmark and Germany, received airplay on both Danish and German radio. Their appearance at a gig at Start! Festival 2010 in Copenhagen gave them many fans. Magtens Korridorer
Magtens Korridorer is a band from Denmark which was started in 1995 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The band consists of Johan Olsen (vocals), Rasmus Kern (guitar, synth, samplers and other keys), Niklas Schneidermann (guitar), Terkel Møhl (bass) and Anders Ramhede (drums). The band's work is described as a mixture of rock and poetic post-punk. History The band made a demo tape in 1996, which included the song "Hestevisen", which was featured on the hugely popular DR P3 radio show '' Tæskeholdet''. This instantly propelled the band to national stardom, despite not having recorded an album yet. The band went to the studio and recorded their debut album '' Bagsiden Af Medaljen'' in 1998, but the album failed to make a commercial breakthrough. Rasmus Nøhr
Rasmus Bensby Nøhr (born 7 March 1972 in Copenhagen) is a Danish musician, composer, and guitarist. Nøhr has released six studio albums since his debut in 2004 and is known for having created the ''Danmark Dejligst'' festival. Career Nøhr had his breakthrough in Denmark with the song ''Det glade pizzabud'', a duet with Ida Corr. In 2004 he released his debut album, ''Rasmus Nøhr''. In 2006 he released his second album, ''Lykkelig Smutning'', which was soon followed by his 2008 album, ''I stedet for en tatovering'' (English: ''Instead of a tattoo'').
