Karolina Gočeva
Karolina Gočeva ( mk, Каролина Гочева, ; born 28 April 1980), sometimes credited as Karolina Gocheva or known only as Karolina, is a Macedonian pop singer. Gočeva launched her music career in 1991 with a performance at a local children's show and continued participating in the following years, receiving recognition for her talent. In 1992, she released her first children album titled ''Mamo, pušti me'' ( en, Mom, let me go). After several years of participating at the Skopje Fest, the Macedonian regional show for a song selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, she signed a contract with the record label Avalon Production in 2000. Gočeva's discography consists of a total of nine studio albums, spanning pop, R&B rock, traditional folk and ethno, jazz and world musical styles. Bitola (; mk, Битола ) is a city in the southwestern part of North Macedonia. It is located in the southern part of the Pelagonia valley, surrounded by the Baba, Nidže, and Kajmakčalan mountain ranges, north of the Medžitlija-Níki border crossing with Greece. North Macedonia, previously presented in the contest as the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R. Macedonia), has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 21 times since its official debut in 1998. ''Pesni za Ljubov i Kopnež'' (in Macedonian Cyrillic: Песни за љубов и копнеж, English translation: ''Songs of Love and Longing'') is the first collaborative studio album by Macedonian singer Karolina Gočeva featuring Macedonian musician and producer Duke Bojadziev and Macedonian-American clarinetist Ismail Lumanovski. The album was released on 24 December 2022 through Avalon Production. A brief documentary film featuring footage of its recording was broadcast on 17 December 2022 on the national TV channel MRT 1. Work on a collaborative project by the trio began in 2019 and due to delays related to the COVID-19 pandemic continued into early 2021 when most of the recording and production was finalized. Duke Bojadziev
Duke Bojadziev ( mk, Дуке Бојаџиев, Duke Bojadžiev, born 24 September 1972) is a Macedonian composer, record producer and pianist, who lives in New York City. Biography Duke Bojadziev showed interest in music at a young age. He played piano from the age of three and first composed when he was ten years old. Taking after his father, who balanced successful careers in both music and medicine, Duke earned his medical degree and then moved in Boston, to attend Berklee College of Music. Upon graduating in 2001, he moved to New York City. Duke Bojadziev worked as producer and composer for oscar-winning film directors Jonathan Demme and Danis Tanovic, as well as oscar-nominee Stole Popov on his last movie To the Hilt. ''Izvor'' (in Macedonian Cyrillic: Извор, English translation: ''Spring'') is the ninth studio album by Macedonian singer Karolina Gočeva released on 23 February 2018. Avalon Production released the album in North Macedonia and subsequently, it was made available for streaming on platforms such as iTunes Store and Spotify.
