Karli Johansen
Karli Johansen (born 26 March 1992) is a women's field hockey player from Canada. Johansen made her senior international debut in 2013, and has been a member of the Canadian women's national team since. She has represented her country at three Commonwealth Games, in Glasgow 2014 and Gold Coast 2018 and Birmingham 2022. Johansen was an instrumental member of the Canadian junior team, helping the team to silver at the 2012 Junior Pan American Cup, in Guadalajara, Mexico. Field Hockey Canada (FHC) is the National sport, national sports organization responsible for the development and growth of field hockey in Canada. In collaboration with provincial and club members, FHC provides programs and resources to support the field hockey community from the pitch to the podium. Prior to 1991, the Canadian men’s and women’s field hockey programs were operating independently as separate national entities. 2017 Women's Pan American Cup
The 2017 Women's Pan American Cup was the fifth edition of the Women's Pan American Cup, the quadrennial international women's field hockey championship of the Americas organised by the Pan American Hockey Federation. It was held between 5 and 13 August 2017 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States, simultaneously with the men's tournament. The tournament doubled as the qualifier for two major international tournaments: the winner qualified directly to the 2018 World Cup, and the two teams not qualifying through the 2018 South American Games or the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games qualified for the 2019 Pan American Games to be held in Lima, Peru.
