Karl Morten Eek
Karl Morten Eek (born 25 June 1988) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Steinkjer in 3. divisjon. He was born in Sparbu and started his career in Sparbu IL. He made his senior debut in May 2005, for Steinkjer FK. He attracted the interest of both Molde FK and Rosenborg BK, but joined FK Bodø/Glimt ahead of the 2009 season. In the latter half of 2009 he was loaned out to Nybergsund IL-Trysil. Ahead of the 2012-season, Eek signed with the Superettan-club Umeå, before he returned to Norway and Ranheim in 2013. Sparbu
Sparbu is a village in the municipality of Steinkjer in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located about south of the Steinkjer (town), town of Steinkjer. The European route E6 highway runs through the village as does the Nordlandsbanen railway line which stops at the Sparbu Station. Superettan
Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000. The second tier of Swedish football had previously consisted of a varying number of regionalized leagues operating under the Division 2 (1924–1986) and Division 1 (1987–1999) names. The 2018 Eliteserien was the 74th completed season of top-tier football in Norway. This was second season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen. The clubs relegated from the 2010 Tippeligaen were Hønefoss (after relegation play-offs), Kongsvinger and Sandefjord. Asker, HamKam, Hødd, and Randaberg were promoted from the 2010 2. divisjon. Following an extended period of financial distress, Lyn withdrew from the league in 2010.
