Karin Sjödin
Karin Sjödin (born 8 August 1983) is a Swedish professional golfer. She played 10 seasons on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and was in contention at the 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship. Amateur career Sjödin was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and learned golf at Delsjö Golf Club close to the city. In 2000 she won the Swedish Junior Match-play Championship and, still as an amateur, the Öijared Ladies Open on the Swedish Golf Tour, at the time named the Telia Tour. She was part of the Swedish team winning the 2000 European Girls' Team Championship at home soil in Stockholm, Sweden. She was also part of the Swedish teams capturing the silver medal at the 2002 European Lady Junior's Team Championship and the bronze medal at the 2003 European Ladies' Team Championship. The Women's Open (originally known as the Women's British Open, and still widely referred to by that name outside the UK) is a women's major golf championships, major championship in Professional golf tours#Women's tours, women's professional golf. Espirito Santo Trophy
The Espirito Santo Trophy (World Women's Amateur Team Championships) is a biennial world amateur team golf championship for women organised by the International Golf Federation. The inaugural event was held in 1964. It was instituted by the French Golf Federation in an agreement with the United States Golf Association. It was planned by Lally Segard, at the time known as Vicomtesse de Saint Sauveur, from France and Mrs. Henri Prunaret from America. Segard also asked her friends Ricardo and Silvia Espirito Santo, from Portugal, to donate a trophy for the event, which they did. They had originally bought the golden cup, which had belonged to Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, for an international Portuguese event that was not played anymore. Swedish Junior Matchplay Championship
The Swedish Junior Match-play Championship is a national golf tournament in Sweden for golfers under the age of 22, contested for both men and women. The championship is open to Swedish citizens until the year they turn 21. In Swedish known as JSM Match, it has been organized by the Swedish Golf Federation since 1939. From 1977 to 1991 the championship was contested in stroke-play, the Swedish Junior Stroke-play Championship. Since 2001, the match-play and stroke-play championships have been held in parallel. Five players, four women and one man, have won both in the same year: Louise Stahle (2002), Caroline Hedwall (2006), Isabella Deilert (2010), Linnea Ström (2012) and David Nyfjäll (2018). Borre Golf Club is a golf club situated by the Oslofjord in Horten, north of Tønsberg in the south east of Norway. 2015 LPGA Tour
The 2015 LPGA Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The Tour began in Ocala, Florida on January 28 and ended on November 22 at the Gold Course of the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Lydia Ko won five tournaments, including one major, led the money list, won the Race to the CME Globe, and became the youngest winner of the LPGA Tour's Player of the Year award. Inbee Park also won five tournaments, including two majors, and won the Vare Trophy for the lowest scoring average. Yoo Sun-young (Korean 유선영 ''Yu Seon-Yeong'' ; born 13 December 1986), also known as Sun Young Yoo, is a South Korean female professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. She won the 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship, which was her first major championship. Amateur career Yoo had a distinguished amateur career. In 2001, she won the Korean Junior Golf Championship. Yani Tseng (; born 23 January 1989) is a Taiwanese professional golfer playing on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour.
