Karim Bougherara is a French-Algerian rugby union player who currently plays for Union Sportive Bressane and is an Algerian international. He plays as a prop. Playing career Bougherara started with the Bourgoin-Jallieu during the 2010–11 season where he plays only one match of the Top 14 and four matches of the European Challenge. In order to increase his playing time, he left the Berjallian club at the end of the season to join the Auch Gers evolved in Pro D2. Vienne (; frp, Vièna) is a town in southeastern France, located south of Lyon, at the confluence of the Gère and the Rhône. Rugby Pro D2, also known as Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France. It is operated by Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) which also runs the division directly above, the first division Top 14. Rugby Pro D2 was introduced in 2000. It is the world's best supported second tier rugby union league. Season structure There is relegation and promotion between both the Top 14 and Fédérale 1, the third-level competition. The top club at the end of the season is automatically promoted to the Top 14; through the 2016–17 season, the 2nd through 5th place teams play each other for the second promotion place. 2010–11 European Challenge Cup
The 2010–11 Amlin Challenge Cup was the 15th season of the European Challenge Cup, Europe's second-tier club rugby union competition, and the second to be sponsored by the British insurance company Amlin. The tournament began on 7 October 2010, with the final played on 20 May 2011 at Cardiff City Stadium, the day before the 2011 Heineken Cup Final in Cardiff, the same city at Millennium Stadium.
