Karel Fajfr
Karel Jiri Jan Josef Fajfr (born 7 September 1943) is a German figure skating coach based in Oberstdorf and a former pair skater for Czechoslovakia. Life and career Competing in partnership with Věra Stehlíková, Fajfr won two silver medals at the Czechoslovak national championships (1964 and 1965). They won the bronze medal at the 1965 Prague Skate. After their partnership ended, he skated with Marika Nagyová for two seasons. They won two bronze medals at the Czechoslovak Championships. Fajfr moved to Germany after the Prague Spring in 1968. From 1980 he coached in Stuttgart and led his daughter Scarlett to the 1981 German Junior national title. That same year, he coached the pair team of Tina Riegel / Andreas Nischwitz to the World bronze and European silver medals. He also coached Heiko Fischer, a five-time German national champion. Michal Březina
Michal Březina (; born 30 March 1990) is a retired Czech figure skater. He is the 2013 European bronze medalist, 2011 Skate America champion, 2009 World Junior silver medalist and four-time Czech national champion. He also won the 2014-15 ISU Challenger Series. Michal represented the Czech Republic at the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics. Personal life Michal Březina was born on 30 March 1990 in Brno. The Prague Skate (sometimes titled Golden Skate; from 1994: Czech Skate) is an international figure skating competition. It was a senior event from the 1960s to 1997, usually held in November or December in Prague. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and pair skating. European Figure Skating Championships
The European Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition in which figure skaters compete for the title of European champion. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and is the sport's oldest competition. The first European Championships was held in 1891 in Hamburg, Germany and featured one segment, compulsory figures, with seven competitors, all men from Germany and Austria. It has been, other than five periods, held continuously since 1891, and has been sanctioned by the ISU since 1893. Women were allowed to compete for the first time in 1930, which is also the first time pairs skating was added to the competition. Ice dance was added in 1954. Ruben Blommaert
Ruben Blommaert (born 5 March 1992) is a Belgian-born German pair skater. With his skating partner, Alisa Efimova, he is the 2022 Grand Prix of Espoo silver medalist. He also holds Belgian citizenship and competed for Belgium in single skating until 2010. Blommaert began representing Germany after teaming up with Annabelle Prölß to compete in pairs. They won the 2013 Cup of Nice and the 2013 German national title. He and his next partner, Mari Vartmann, won four ISU Challenger Series medals and the 2015 Cup of Nice. Annabelle Prölß (born 30 March 1999) is a German figure skater who is best known for her pairs career. With partner Ruben Blommaert, she is the 2013 Cup of Nice champion and 2013 German national senior champion. She has also competed in singles. Daniel Wende
Daniel Wende (born 24 July 1984) is a German pair skater. With Maylin Wende, he is the 2010 Trophée Eric Bompard bronze medalist, the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, and a two-time German national champion. They have competed twice at the Winter Olympics (2010, 2014) and have placed as high as sixth at the European Championships (2011, 2014).
