Karaye Emirate
Karaye Emirates is the Emirate council in Kano State with its headquarters in Karaye town. The current Emir of Karaye is Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II. History Karaye town is the headquarters of the Karaye emirate and is located west of Kano city.  Even before the arrival of Bagauda in 999, Magunguna settled in Karaye. The town of Karaye was founded in 1085. From 1101 to 1793, the kings of Habe ruled Karaye. During the time of the Habe rulers, the Karaye emirate expanded to include the Western and Northern areas of the current Kano State. Relations with Kano When the House of Bagauda was ruling in Kano, they asked for cooperation with their neighbor Karaya Emirate in order to unite their forces in order to protect themselves from other emirates like Zaria, Katsina and Sokoto. Karaye agreed to cooperate with the House of Bagauda where Karaye returned to the Kingdom of Kano. Kano State (Hausa: ''Jihar Kano''جىِهَر كَنوُ) (Fula: Leydi Kano 𞤤𞤫𞤴𞤣𞤭 𞤳𞤢𞤲𞤮𞥅 ) is one of the 36 states of Nigeria, located in the northern region of the country. Shanono is a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria. It is the headquarter of Shanono local government. The origin of Shanono town, Shanono local government (town) could historically be traced back to renowned brothers ''Jaulere and ''Shanu''. These two brothers are to the land. Kabo
Kabo is a town in the northern Central African Republic, lying north west of Kaga Bandoro. It is a market town and the border post for Chad. History The northern nomads in the Central African Republic resented the central government and a rebel People's Army for the Restoration of the Republic and Democracy (PAPRD) was formed in the 1990s. Fula Jihads
The Fula (or Fulani) jihads ( ar, جهاد الفولا) sometimes called the Fulani revolution were a series of jihads that occurred across West Africa during the 18th and 19th centuries, led largely by the Muslim Fula people. The jihads and the jihad states came to an end with European colonization. The first uprising inspired by Islam and which was against of Hausa rulers took place in 1725, when Fula pastoralists, assisted by Muslim traders, rose against the indigenous chiefdoms of Hausa Maguzawa rulers.
