Karam Gaber
Karam Ibrahim Gaber ( ar, كرم إبراهيم جابر, born 1 September 1979 in Alexandria) is an Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the gold medal in the Men's Greco-Roman 96 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and won the silver medal at the 2003 World Championships. At the 2012 London Olympics, he won a silver medal. He was suspended by United World Wrestling for two years in August 2015, because of a "whereabouts failure" during his doping test. Career Gaber won at the 2004 Olympics Greco-Roman finals with a gap of 12 points (12–1), having competed against Ramaz Nozadze of Georgia and Mehmet Özal, beating him in the semifinals with 11 points (11–0). Gaber won the second gold medal for Egypt in Greco-Roman wrestling, the other being from the 1928 Summer Olympics. Ali Ibrahim
Ali Ibrahim ( ar, على إبراهيم, 19 December 1971 – 28 March 2010) was an Egyptian rower who competed at four Olympic Games. He also won multiple World Rowing Cup medals, including three silver medals and two bronze medals. Life and rowing career Ali Ibrahim was born on 19 December 1971, in Al Sharqia, Egypt. He began rowing in 1990. He became the most successful Egyptian rower, when he finished 8th in the men's single scull at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States, and 6th at the 1997 World Championships in Aiguebelette, France. The 2008 Summer Olympics opening ceremony was held at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the ''Bird's Nest''. It began at 20:00 China Standard Time ( UTC+08:00) on Friday, 8 August 2008, as the number 8 is considered to be auspicious. The number 8 is associated with prosperity and confidence in Chinese culture. The artistic part of the ceremony comprised two parts titled "Brilliant Civilization" and "Glorious Era" respectively. is a Japanese professional wrestler, mixed martial artist and a former amateur wrestler, currently signed to Pro Wrestling Noah, where he is a one-time GHC Heavyweight Champion. He has most recently fought in Road FC, but is also known for his work in the PRIDE Fighting Championships, K-1, Rizin Fighting Federation, and World Victory Road.
