Frederick Kappel
Frederick Russell Kappel (1902–1994) was an American businessman.Kenneth N. Gilpin ''The New York Times'', November 12, 1994. He served as the 9th President of Western Electric from January 1954 until September 1956. He later served as chairman of AT&T from 1961 to 1972. He also served in the Johnson and Nixon administrations. Biography Early life He graduated from the University of Minnesota. Career He started his career at AT&T in 1924, working as a $25-a-week digger of telephone poles for one of its subsidiaries, the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Minnesota. In 1954, he became president of Western Electric, another subsidiary. In 1956, he was elected president of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company, later renamed AT&T. He also served as its chairman from 1961 to 1972. He served as chairman of the Business Council from 1963 to 1964.

Rudi Kappel
Ronald "Rudi" Elwin Kappel (8 November 1926 – 6 October 1959) was a Surinamese pilot. He was one of the founders of ''Luchtvaartbedrijf Kappel-Van Eyck'' which is now called Surinam Airways, the first airline in Suriname. He also helped construct the Zorg en Hoop Airport, and the Rudi Kappel Airstrip. Kappel died in an air crash near Paloemeu. Biography Kappel was born on 8 November 1926 in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Both his parents were from Suriname. He went to the United States and obtained his pilot licence in 1948. In 1950, Kappel met Leendert Jägers, director of Ypenburg Airport near the Hague, with whom he had wanted to establish the first Surinamese airline company. Niko Kappel (born 1 March 1995) is a German Paralympic athlete of short stature. He represented Germany at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won the gold medal in the men's shot put F41 event. Hugh Kappel (born 1910 Berlin – 1982) was an American artist. Life He received an M.A. in philosophy. He studied at Parisian art schools. He immigrated to New York City in 1938. In 1940, he became an American citizen. In 1940, he met Anne Heyneman; they married; they had a daughter, Karen, in 1946; but divorced. He taught at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Henry "Heinie" Kappel (September 1863 – August 27, 1905) was an American infielder. He played professional baseball for 11 years from 1884 to 1895, including three seasons in Major League Baseball with the Cincinnati Red Stockings (1887–1888) and Columbus Solons (1889). Kappel was born in Philadelphia in 1863. He began playing professional baseball in 1884 for the New Castle Neshannocks. He continued in the minor leagues for the Augusta Browns and Wilmington Blue Hens in 1885 and the Augusta Browns, Chattanooga Lookouts, and Syracuse Stars in 1886. Kappel made his major-league debut in 1887 with the Cincinnati Red Stockings. He played for Cincinnati in 1887 and 1888, appearing in 59 games and compiling a .267 batting average. Kappel am Albis is a municipality in the district of Affoltern in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland. Its name of Kappel (german: chapel) is specified by "on the Albis" to distinguish it from two other villages called Kappel in Switzerland.
