Kapil Deo Kamat
Kapil Deo Kamat (11 May 1951 – 16 October 2020) was an Indian politician from Madhubani district of Bihar, India. He was serving as Minister of Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Bihar. He was a Member of Bihar Legislative Assembly representing Babubarhi (Vidhan Sabha constituency). Early life Kapil Deo Kamat was born on 11 May 1951, at Madhubani district in Bihar, India as a son of Late Anokhi Kamat. Political career Kapil contested the October 2005 Bihar Legislative Assembly election as a Janta Dal United candidate from Babubarhi (Vidhan Sabha constituency) and won. Again, he contested the 2010 Bihar Legislative Assembly election from the same constituency but lost to Uma Kant Yadav of Rashtriya Janata Dal. In 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election he won from the Babubarhi (Vidhan Sabha constituency) and was appointed Minister of Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Bihar. The Government of Bihar, known locally as the State Government, is the supreme governing authority of the Indian state of Bihar and its 9 divisions which consist of 38 districts . It consists of an executive, led by the Governor of Bihar, a judiciary and legislative branches. Rashtriya Janata Dal
The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: ''National People's Party'') is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav. The party's support base has traditionally been Other Backward Classes, Dalits and Muslims and it is considered a political champion of the lower castes. In 2008, RJD received the status of recognized national level party following its performance in north-eastern states. RJD was derecognised as a national party on 30 July 2010.
