Kapellen, Belgium
Kapellen (, old spelling: ''Cappellen'') is a municipality in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality lies in the Campine in the northern part of the province. Kapellen consists only of the town of Kapellen proper. In 2021, Kapellen had a total population of 27,157. The total area is 37.11 km². Kapellen consists out of multiple neighbourhoods, Kapellen Center, the eastern part of Putte, Kapellenbos, Hoogboom and Zilverenhoek. A number of neighbourhoods in Kapellen have a residential character and are characterized by their villaparcs, exclusive landhouses, and beautiful castles. Kapellen an der Fleuth is a village of about 2600 people in northwest Germany near the border of the Netherlands. Since 1969 the village has been a part of the city of Geldern. Kapellen lies in the Niederrhein (Lower Rhine) in the northwest part of German Federal State of Nordrhein-Westfalen. The village is approximately from Düsseldorf, from the Rhine River at Xanten and from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Kapellen located in the left (western) bank of the Lower Rhine. Because there are other European areas named Kapellen/Capellen, in January 2020 the village was renamed with the distinctive name Kapellen an der Fleuth. Capellen
Capellen ( lb, Cap/Capellen ) is a town in the commune of Mamer, in south-western Luxembourg, 12 km west of Luxembourg City. , the town has a population of 1,336. Despite not having a commune named after it, Capellen lends its name to the canton of Capellen, and is the only town in Luxembourg to bear the latter distinction but not the former. Capellen is home of the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA), currently being transformed into the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) which will act as the headquarters of NATO's Agencies.
