Kaoru Ishikawa
was a Japanese organizational theorist and a professor in the engineering faculty at the University of Tokyo noted for his quality management innovations. He is considered a key figure in the development of quality initiatives in Japan, particularly the quality circle. is a lawyer and former Justice of the Supreme Court of Japan. She was born on February 7, 1949. In 1973, she earned her law degree from the University of Tokyo.
