Kaoru Ikeya (director)
(born 14 October 1958) is a Japanese film director. He directed the documentary ''The Ants'' (2006). The military history of Japan covers a vast time-period of over three millennia - from the Jōmon ( 1000 BC) to the present day. The Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945) or War of Resistance (Chinese term) was a military conflict that was primarily waged between the Republic of China and the Empire of Japan.
