Kanteerava
''Kanteerava'' is a 2011 Kannada-language action drama film directed by Tushar Ranganath and produced by Ramu. It is a remake of the Telugu film '' Simhadri'' (2003). The film features Duniya Vijay, Shuba Poonja and Rishika Singh in the lead roles. Chakri has composed the music for the film. The movie was dubbed and released in Hindi as "Himmat The Power". Plot An orphan and good hearted lad Kanthi (Duniya Vijay) is adopted and grows up under Ramachandrappa (Srinivasa Murthy) family care in Bangalore. The bond they share is like father and son. Kasturi (Rishika Singh) is Ramachandrappa's granddaughter, and she likes Kanthi a lot. Once a week, Kanthi meets a mentally challenged girl named Indhira (Shubha Poonja). He entertains her and provides money for her caretakers. When Ramachandrappa and his wife (Sangeeta) discover Kasturi wants to marry Kanthi, Ramachandrappa decides to get them married. Rishika Singh
Rishika Singh (born Rohini Singh) is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada-language films. She is the daughter of film director Rajendra Singh Babu and granddaughter of Mysore-based film producer Shankar Singh and former Kannada actress Pratima Devi. Her brother Aditya (Kannada actor), Aditya also appears in Kannada films. Early life Rishika Singh was born as Rohini Singh to film director Rajendra Singh Babu in Bengaluru. Duniya Vijay
B R Vijay Kumar, who is professionally known as Duniya Vijay and Duniya Viji, is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada films. He began his career playing small roles until he got his big break in '' Duniya'' (2007). ''Simhaadri'' is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by S. S. Rajamouli from a story written by V. Vijayendra Prasad. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Bhumika Chawla, and Ankitha, with Mukesh Rishi, Nassar, and Rahul Dev playing supporting roles. The film has music composed by M. M. Shuba Poonja
Shubha Poonja is an Indian actress and former model. She has mostly appeared in Kannada films and Tamil. She is best known for her role in the movie Moggina Manasu for which she received Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Kannada.
