Aya Kanno
is a Japanese manga artist. After working as an assistant to Masashi Asaki of ''Psychometrer Eiji'' fame, she debuted as a professional manga artist in ''Hana to Yume'' in 2001 with her fantasy-action series ''Soul Rescue''. She has since published manga primarily in Hakusensha's (girls') manga anthologies: ''Hana to Yume'', ''The Hana to Yume'', ''Hana to Yume Plus'', and ''Bessatsu Hana to Yume''. Kanno is best known for her romantic comedy series ''Otomen'', which was adapted into a live-action television drama in 2009. Her historical dark fantasy series ''Requiem of the Rose King'', based on William Shakespeare's ''Richard III'', was adapted into an anime by J.C.Staff in 2022. James Kanno
James Kanno (December 22, 1925 – July 15, 2017) served as the first mayor of Fountain Valley, California from 1957 to 1962. He was one of the first mayors of Asian descent in the United States. Biography Kanno was born in an unincorporated part of California's Orange County on December 22, 1925. His parents were immigrants from Japan's Fukushima Prefecture. Kanno attended Santa Ana High School but, following the signing of Executive Order 9066, was sent with his family to the Poston War Relocation Center in Arizona during World War II before he could graduate. After leaving camp, Kanno attended Marquette University for a year before returning to California. In 1949, he graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and minor in agricultural engineering from UCLA. That same year, Kanno and his father and brother purchased some acreage in the Fountain Valley area and began farming. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdullah Kanno ( ar, محمد إبراهيم عبد الله كنو; born 22 September 1994) is a Saudi Arabian football player who plays as a central midfielder for Al-Hilal. is a Japanese composer and musician known for his work on many television dramas, anime series, and movies. Biography Kanno was born in Saitama, Japan. He attended junior high school in Kawagoe before later moving to Takanezawa for university. While attending school, he was fascinated by Impressionist Music.
