Kanju
Kanju is a village situated on the bank of the River Swat in Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Location It is 3 kilometres away from Mingora, the main city of Swat District, and about 5 kilometres from Saidu Sharif, the district's capital. It is situated on the bank of the River Swat. Saidu Sharif Airport
Saidu Sharif Airport is an airport in Pakistan. It is situated near the Swat River and between the villages of Dherai and Kanju in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The airport was built in 1978, and two flights took place daily to Peshawar. and Islamabad before the airport was shut down during the First Battle of Swat in 2007. There were hopes of reopening the airport in 2012. However, this reopening was repeatedly delayed due to the security situation. Nevertheless, after a hiatus of 17 years, the airport resumed flights from March 2021 onwards. Many visitors that come to the valley of Swat and to the Malam Jabba ski resort in summers fly to Swat through this airport. Malik Jamroz Khan
Haji Malak Jamroz Khan (1878–1963) was a leader of Yusufzai Pashtun in Swat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He was the only son of Malak Amir Ullah Khan (Mehrullah Khan) of Bara Bandai, Chief of Ashakhel Yousafzai. Haji Malak Jamroz Khan was a well-known leader of the Niamatkhel clan of Yousafzai Pashtuns. Malik Jamroz Khan was from the Kanju village of Swat. Malik Jamroz Khan was a well-respected individual who worked for the well being of the people of his area. Haji Malak Jamroz Khan known as Shad Dada was among those few elders of Swat who formed the former princely State of Swat. Malik Jamroz Khan had two sons Haji Malak Abdul Akbar Khan Lala (1907–1993) and Haji Malak Nawsherawan Khan. Mingora ( ps, مینګورہ, ur, ) is a city in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Saidu Sharif
Saidū Sharīf (Pashto/Urdu: ) is the capital of Swat District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The city also serves as the capital city of Malakand Division. It was named after Saidu Baba, a prominent leader of the former Yusufzai State of Swat.
