Muhammad Saad Kandhlawi
Muhammad Saad Kandhlawi (born 10 May 1965) is an Indian Muslim scholar and preacher. He is the great-grandson of the Tablighi Jamat founder Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi. He heads one faction of the Tablighi Jamat. Early life Saad Kandhlawi was born on 10 May 1965 (1385 AH) in Western Uttar Pradesh's Kandhla town in Shamli District. He is the great-grandson of the founder of Tablighi Jamat, Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi through former ameer of the Tablighi Jamat Muhammad Yusuf Kandhlawi. He completed his Dars-e-Nizami studies from Madrasa Kashiful Uloom at Nizamuddin Markaz, Nizamuddin West, South Delhi in 1987. Career Former head of the Tablighi Jamat Inamul Hasan Kandhlawi had formed a 10-member legislation before his death in 1995 to look after the Jamat affairs and this legislation (commonly shura) was intact until 2015. Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi
Muḥammad Ilyās ibn Muḥammad Ismā‘īl Kāndhlawī Dihlawī (1885 – 13 July 1944) was an Indian Islamic scholar who founded the Tablighi Jamaat Islamic revivalist movement, in 1925, in Mewat province. Early life and education Muhammad Ilyas was born in 1303 AH (1885/1886) in the village of Kandhla, Muzaffarnagar district, North-West Provinces, British India (in present-day Shamli district, Uttar Pradesh, India). His year of birth can be computed by the ''tarikhi'' (chronogrammatic) name "Akhtar Ilyas" () using abjad numerals. In a local maktab (school), he memorized one and a quarter ajza' of the Qur'an, and he completed memorizing the Qur'an under his father's supervision in Nizamuddin area, Delhi. Muḥammad In‘āmul-Ḥasan Kāndhlawī (20 February 191810 June 1995) was an Indian Islamic scholar who served as the Chief leader or Amir of the Tablighi Jamaat from 1965 to 1995. Early life and career Inamul Hasan was born on 20 February 1918 in Kandhla town, near Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He received his basic religious education at Madrassa Kashif-ul-Uloom Nizamuddin New Delhi and then at Mazahir Uloom Saharanpur and then spent the rest of his life working for Tablighi Jamat. He married Sheikh ul Hadith Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi's second daughter. Muḥammad Idrīs ibn Muḥammad Ismā‘īl Ṣiddīqī Kāndhlawī ( ur, ; 20 August 189928 July 1974) was a Deobandi Islamic scholar particularly known as a scholar of hadith and tafsir (exegesis of the Qur'an). He held the post of Shaykh al-Tafsir at Darul Uloom Deoband in India and later migrated to Pakistan where he served as Shaykh al-Hadith wat-Tafsir at Jamia Ashrafia Lahore.
